Children who live at this part of the Himalayan Mountain Range go to school from Sunday to Friday. Sunday is their 1st day of the week. They have to walk 1.5 hr to school uphill and 1 hr downhill back home.

I managed to catch sight of 2 of them on the way to school among the trekkers. See that little boy in front? He was running uphill!!!

The children here are really fast and 'furious'!

I am quite surprised with such living conditions, why aren't Nepali among the fastest marathon runner in the world?

According to my guide, he said that it is uncommon for Nepali to join any international sporting games. It is not encouraged by the state also.
