On the plane ride to Nepal, for the 1st time I witnessed a mountain range protruding above a thick carpet of white clouds while the evening sun cast a golden glow on them. Simply majestic!

Learnt a lesson that I should have taken the windows seat on the left side (from Delhi to Kathmandu). People are snapping photos while I watch from my aisle seat...

Still a beautiful sight which is now recorded in my mind.

After landing I met my Sherpas who will be my best friend for the next 2 weeks 🙂

Last few things to prepare before the journey starts at 2am:

- Sim Card - US$11 for 30 days
- Water purification pill - US$5 for 100 litres
- sleeping bag (-5 degree) - US$1/day rental
- Last warm water shower as there won't be any shower for 2 weeks.
- Last meal with meat and vege as food intake will mainly be carbo for 2 weeks. (Mainly because meat and vege are not fresh by the time the porters carry to the campsites)

Learnt something interesting today. Nepali meals are served with pop corns as starter!!
