#LinusBucketList – Accomplished
05 Mar 2020 / Linus Lin
12.40pm Nepal Time (2.55pm SG time) after a 1 hr 22 min push from Gorak Shep (5160m), we arrived at Everest Base Camp (5364m).
We are blessed with a clear sky thus we could capture the famous 'Khumbu Icefall' which is the 1st obstacle Everest Summit Climbers have to overcome.
As for me, 8 days of trekking to finally arrive here is a success enough for my lifetime. I don't think I will do it again.
Took a symbolic photo with my mini Singapore Flag on my favourite wind-breaker which had brought me to the summit of Mount KK 8 years ago.
The idea of reaching Everest Base Camp originated from that Mount KK climb. I am glad to finally done this trek with the help of my guide-porter, Dhansingh, without him, I would have lost my way and crashed by my load.
Okay, so now where is my helicopter?
Oh Well...
I just have to back track for another 3 days then...
PS: check out those ice beneath the rocks. Ice is strong!!!
